Creepy Cemetery

Doesn't this remind you of one of those cemeteries you see in the movies with a creepy old tree, mist, stone walls, and of course tomb stones. It's like it's just begging to have a horror movie use it as a set.

The shot is taken in Cape Town, and is is actually only about 50 metres from the sea. The cemetery was used as a burial ground for naval soldiers from both WWI and WWII, with he naval base being just a kilometre or two away.

Weekly Photo: Gentle Morning Tide

I found this little gem literally two minutes from where I was staying in Cape Town this past holiday. I was down there about 30 minutes before sunrise, and I was actually hoping for the tide to be much higher than it was. I had envisaged large waves crashing into the rocks creating a nice dramatic shot. Unfortunately it wasn't to be, so I wondered around looking for something else to take. This is when I came across this beautiful frame with a nice leading line of water rushing through a crack, beautiful textured rocks jutting out, and a soft misty background. Needless to say I'm quite pleased with the result.

Let me know what you think...
