While HDR is great in many different settings, it is most visible and effective in dynamic light settings. This photo was taken under a train track. Traditional photography techniques would struggle to capture this shot with such detail and light. In most cases it would either be normally exposed under the bridge and heavily over-exposed on the horizon, or under-exposed by the bridge and normally exposed on the horizon. Using HDR techniques both parts of the image are normally exposed, showing the detail in all areas.
