Paint Job

The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town has many fascinating aspects about it, but for me one of the most interesting things is the shipyard. It's just a wonder to see such a big structure being repaired.

On this particular day this ship was being repainted. I had a nice chat with one of the painters who was explaining to me the intricate procedure of docking the boat, draining it, and later releasing it. Quite a process!!!!

I love the feeling of depth the photo conveys with the reflections of red in the small pools of water underneath the ship.
