Fujifilm X-T10

I was very excited yesterday to hear the announcement of the Fujifilm X-T10.

For a while now I have been intrigued by mirrorless camera systems. They are both portable and powerful, offering the features and interchangeable lenses of a DSLR at a fraction of the weight, and all in all I really, really like them. For a while I wanted the Sony A7 (a beautiful camera that is also full-frame). But more recently I have dreamt of owning the Fujifilm X-T1. While it is not full-frame, the X-T1 offers a great body with a series of brilliant lenses to back it up (I feel that when investing in a camera you have to take into account the quality of the brands lenses).

However, yesterday Fuji released the X-T1's little brother... the X-T10. It's practically the X-T1 in a smaller and more affordable package. $500 cheaper than the X-T1, and only shedding its weather sealing and a dedicated ISO dial (replaced with a multi-function program dial which I personally think is better), I'm thinking this might soon be my exodus from my trusty, but somewhat limited Canon 50D DSLR.
Don't get me wrong... I don't think DSLR's are obsolete. But I do think the mirrorless system has a big future in it's little package.
